It's a large book - about 11" x 15" (28cm x 38cm). Each image is on a separate page with a description on the back. I'm considering removing some of the images from the book and mounting them in frames to hang on my wall.Product details

MC Escher 29 Master Prints Darlene; Editor Geis 9781435124882 Books Reviews
I had "MY" own copy of this book and my daughter( she's a professional artist and has a fine arts degree) was wearing mine out so I bought her her own. I was able to find another one for her in PERFERT collectable condition.
I love M. C.Escher! It is like a where's WALDO? book. You can always find something new that you didn't notice before in every picture These are "out of print" I was thrilled to find one for her in such nice shape!... arived quickly excellent packaging!

Several high quality prints as well as early and preliminary sketches. Great survey of a unique artistic genius. Some in colr and some in black and white.
I've loved Eschers work since I first saw it as a teenager. I couldn't beleive this was only two bucks. The quality is very good, thick, heavy paper with a slight gloss. Very sturdy for a paperback and can hold it's own as a coffee table book. Nice enough to frame if you could bear to cut it up. Interesting background info on each print. It's arrival made for a delightfully lazy afternoon spent perusing the pages. Many guests have enjoyed it since. I wish I got that much value fo revery two bucks I spend.
Very happy with this book. Like so many people, I have seen Escher's work throughout my life. But I hadn't learned much about the artist. This book tells so much about M.C. Escher and his art, and gives it to you on quality paper suitable for framing and putting up on the walls. It is a bargain just for the prints! But the stories are art unto themselves and well worth reading in addition to framing the prints.
A closer look with larger graphics of some of the more popular prints. I was fortunate to see some original prints in person at the St. Petersburg FL Dali Museum and this book helps extend that memory. Each print has a bit of background by M.C. Escher himself as well as others.
I'll be honest, I bought this book to cut it up. There are several works in here that don't have official poster releases ("Dream" for example) that I wanted to have good quality prints of, and this was the largest-dimensioned Escher art book I could find. The paperback binding was rather flimsy and the some of the pages fell out, but since this was exactly what I was trying to do with the book I'm counting it as a plus. The pages look very nice framed on the wall.
All in all nice quality prints and interesting little blurbs about them on the opposite pages, but subpar binding (which can still be a plus if you want to take the book apart).
The observations written by Escher were interesting. They draw attention to subtleties about each print and his thoughts on being a graphic artist, just short blurbs to digest while looking over the page. He notes how his self-portrait reflecting in a globe shows him holding the globe with his right hand, which is a reflection of his left hand, which was carved into the wood press as a right hand because the print is the opposite and he's really left handed.
The large format of the book is nice too. I cut several prints out with an exacto knife and framed them to put on the wall.
It's a large book - about 11" x 15" (28cm x 38cm). Each image is on a separate page with a description on the back. I'm considering removing some of the images from the book and mounting them in frames to hang on my wall.
